Join us for Brickfield Dinks & Drinks Pickleball Tournament, a fun individual mixer benefiting Grantsburg Revitalization Operation’s (GRO’s) efforts to enhance and beautify the area surrounding the Grantsburg pickleball courts.

Players register individually and rotate partners throughout the tournament—no partner is needed! Competition will be divided into Recreational, Intermediate and Advanced/Open divisions.

Tournament Details

  • Cost per person = $30
  • Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.
  • Tournament play begins at 9:00 a.m.
  • Estimated completion: 1:30 p.m.
  • Individual registration—no partner needed (rotating partners throughout tournament play)
  • At least four games guaranteed
  • Limited to 12 players per division. Tournament organizers reserve the right to move players to a different division to maintain balanced skill levels and registration numbers.
  • The top four players in each division advance to a rotating-partner championship round
  • Awards presented to the champion of each division

Players will receive a coupon for a free beverage at Brickfield Brewing (non alcoholic options, beer, wine, cocktails available). Brickfield will also supply a coupon valid toward food at Big Daddy’s Rockin Q — bbq food truck parked at Brickfield on Saturday, August 22. We also plan to have refreshments available for purchase (cash only please) at the courts.

Pickleball Court Enhancement

Tournament proceeds will support future improvements designed to make the courts more comfortable and welcoming for players, families and spectators. Our wish list includes a concrete gathering area with picnic tables and shade, providing an accessible place to sit, rest and enjoy the courts. The images below are inspiration only and represent our vision for the space. We also hope to raise enough funds to incorporate wind screens and additional enhancements to the courts. Final plans, designs and improvements are subject to review and approval by the Village, as well as funding initiatives.

Weather Policy: In the event of rain or unsafe court conditions, the tournament will either be delayed to a later start time on August 22, or moved to Sunday, August 23. Registered players will be notified by email and/or text. If both the original date and rain date are canceled, participants may request a refund or allow their registration fee to remain as a donation to the court-enhancement project.

Registration Deadline: Registration and payment are due by Friday, August 14, 2026. Space is limited to 12 players per division, and registration may close early if all spots are filled. Once a division reaches capacity, additional players may join its waiting list. Your spot is not confirmed until payment is received.

Refunds* are available through the registration deadline (Friday, August 14). After that date, registration fees are generally nonrefundable because player schedules and divisions will have been finalized.

If you cancel after the deadline and your spot can be filled by someone on the waiting list, you may be eligible for a refund*. If your spot cannot be filled, no refund will be issued.

*Credit-card processing fees will be deducted from refunds for registrations paid by credit card.

Substitute players of a comparable skill level may be permitted with advance approval from the tournament organizers.

Open to players ages 14 and older. Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the event waiver.
